This large-scale artwork is a hand-printed lino print on Kozo paper. It marks my first venture into large-scale lino cutting, a process that spanned over a year, carved in between other projects and commitments. The piece is a self-portrait, depicting me walking among flowers. The lupins symbolise Scotland, my homeland, where they bloom wild in the summertime, while the gum blossoms and leaves represent Australia, my current home. Through symbolism and pattern, I aim to explore and tell stories of women’s experiences.

All works will be made available from the 18 Feb either by collection from the shop or by postage.
